Cruiser Shrine

Caleta De San Juanico

The cruiser's shrine is a monument to a cruiser's passage in the Sea of Cortez. The shrine is a tree at the foot of the bay where cruiser's leave a 'boat thing'. The creativity here is great, as you can see by some of these photos.

Some Carved out wood	Cloud-9 left a shell
Some used Rocks to build a castle	Others used sticks and shells
Some built ships (This one was a true work of art, to bad the camera did not capture it)	Others painted on rocks.
Sailboats were popular	But ribbons carried the day!
